I think WoW and GW comparisons are like apples and oranges. Sure they are both roundish but that's about it. I played WoW for all of a month and decided it wasn't for me. For one thing the Fee, whether it equates to approximately the same as buying the expansions for GW as they come out or not, killed it. It's not because I'm cheap but just because with my job I can easily go a month without playing and then what? I either pay for a month I don't use or I'm just boned. The second thing was the cartoonish graphics and the way they blended the PvP and PvE. You end up with jackasses walking around challenging you to duels every fifteen minutes because you happen to be slightly lower in level than them. It's annoying. I think GW was spot on in seperating the two. Granted the number of jackasses differs from server to server but still. The third thing that killed it was the grind. That 100 hours to level is spent doing the same monotonous, boring, god awful crap over and over and over again. At the end of the day you can tell it's a Blizzard production and it stinks of Diablo 2 and it's ilk with the grind. I'm surprised they didn't implement the old hostile system and let people wander around PKing for no apparent reason.
